Sweet Angels singing on my Strat
I'd mostly used Fender Bullets Pure Nickel .010 - .046 on my Stratocaster. Anything lighter sounded tinny to my ear. The Fender pure nickels really made it sing. I tried these Rev Willy's after seeing a Billy Gibbons interview. I was pleasantly surprised .09 - .042 sound even better than the Fender Nickel Bullet ends and are easier to bend.

If you play a pack of 9's of these vs Ernie Ball 9's, these don't feel quite as slinky, which I'm guessing… read more is the difference between pure nickel strings, and nickel plated steel. I have been playing with these for about 7 months now, and I've never broken a single one. I just change them when they start to show wear from frets and corrosion. Highly recommend these to anyone who has yet to try them!
