Satchur8 Bridge Humbucker Pickup - F-spaced - Black Review

Sounds great in my Ibanez JS100

After getting it back from the shop I plugged it in and man does this thing growl yet scream. Love it.

ok ,just slapped this in a js 1200,i have had Fred, than mo'joe and seeing I didn't get what I really wanted, figure I try the sathu8 . well first impression, its ok but a little weak, ok I rose the pickup a bout a nickel each side ,ohh starts to get a bit meaner ,I'm liking it more know,,the pickup I think likes more gain, but with high gain its still articulate, also it is bright… read more ,but not bad bright where you ears stat to bleed, it just sounds right play with light gain you can get the acoustic sound you guitar has when not plugged in .which is amazing, pickup does not color your tone o so either ,high gain Joe style or cleaner dirt, to pretty clean it works well .its a keeper ,and loving the legato ,with high gain very articulate ,works good with the par Joe also.but i'm changing the volume pot ,don't need the treble bleed I tryied 80's music ,so lnych ,deep purple, Joe of coarse ,evh. judist priest .ac/dcv,every thing in the era

WOW

I installed this in a 1985 contemporary stat HSS, just a great pickup, harmonics just jump out yet very pick sensitive and has very good clarity, cleans up very well at lower volumes (I have a treble bleed) Normally A8 pickups are a bit dark but it has almost a p90 growl in some ways. Just a great pickup all around, Dimarzio usually does A5 mags airbuckers, This is probably one… read more of their best creations, somewhere between a super distortion and a super 3 in ballsiness yet like a virtual hot paf in clarity it has that 3d thing going on.

Ibanez S.A. blasting

Put this pick up in a new project Ibanez S.A. guitar in bridge position. First thing I noticed was fat low end and so clean sounding fully distorted. Leads just sing away, whammy bar tricks abound and tight and responsive. Plays clean settings very well. Fantastic Pickup!

I was prepared for a modest bump in performance from this pickup given Joe's personal perspective on what sounded better...but of course he has his name on it so...taken with a grain of salt. I put this pickup in a Maple Godin LGXT with a Liquifier neck PU....all i can say is WOW! The tone, dynamic range, and sweet saturation are truly amazing...the mids and slightly subdued highs… read more make this thing sing in overdriven lead mode....the pickup cleans up beautifully when you dial back the volume knob....sweet and full with nice chiming highs that are not harsh....and it blends so well with the JP Liquifier PU....when both pickups are on, i get a fat, articulate, and warmly expressive neck / bridge pickup sound that i really loved...i have played a lot of Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups over the years..i have never heard any that sound better than the Satchur8 with the Liquifier...this pickup combo will never come off my guitar.
