I replaced the pickups on my knock off SG with these.The sound is incredible! Based on the quality and sound of these, I am going to replace my Strat pickups with Seymour Duncan pickups!

i've bought this pickup set before here. found another les paul, so i'm buying this pickup set again. they can sound hot, but that's cause of their clarity. it's all there with these humbuckers

Seymour Duncan's description of theIt Saturday Night Specials is right on point. The alnico IV magnet falls in between a classic PAF and higher gain pickups. It has power but without the compression. I purchased these to replace the probuckers in my Epiphone JB Amos Flying V...that I also purchased from sweetwater:). The highs are sweet, lows are tight with beautiful note separation,… read more even with higher gain. I can't say enough good things about these pickups.

I bought these to drop into an Epiphone Les Paul Custom 100th Anniversary Outfit. The LP came with ProBucker pickups stock, which aren't bad pickups, but they just didn't have quite enough bite for my personal preference. Well these Seymour Duncan's absolutely do! The bridge pickup is crisp and clear, the highs come through great and it has a fantastic audio profile. And my neck… read more pickup is finally useable! The ProBucker was really muddy and dark, but the Saturday Night Special is warm and meaty. There are plenty of demos on YouTube of the Saturday Night Specials, but none of the videos really do them justice. These are a great upgrade for any axe!

GREAT tone..plenty of output without the fuzz you get with a lot of pickups..Im normally a super distortion guy, I run them in almost everything, but decided to give a set of these a shot in a semi-hollow body..
