Absolutely Incredible
Everything on this bass just feels top notch. The neck adjusts perfectly with no issue. I've not had any fret sprout or any other QC issues at all. I came from an American Professional Precision bass, and this just feels so much better built. The sound can definitely be polarizing. You're not going to get a good passive chunky p bass tone out of it, but there is more than enough… read more variety for me out of it. The only bad things were stuff that should have been caught in Sweetwater's inspection, in my opinion. It came to me with a dead battery, and a lot of polish left around the tuners and knobs. Nothing that was much effort to fix at all, just bummed they tout their inspection but shipped me a bass with a dead battery and polish gunked up on it. I play mostly metal and it's been exceptional for that. I tune, low to high pitch, Ab, Db, Ab, Db, Gb. The low string feels nice and tight, never floppy. I cannot recommend the bass enough if you think it'll be up your alley tone-wise.
