A Good Pickup But Not The Tone I'm Looking For

Really, this choice of pickup was an unknown for me. These pickups went into a Line6 JTV-69 and I was hoping for something closer to a VooDoo pickup tone w/o all of the RF hum. This pickup is good. Very solid in the mid-range tones, but not as much bottom punch or highs as I had hoped.

I bought this to replace a Vintage Rails in the middle position of y strat which was just too weak. I recently purchased a strat mainly because of the fact that it is probably the easiest guitar for playability and comfort. The Duncan cool rails provide that nice strat quack while at the sam time giving you that focused humbucking sound without all the noise associated with single… read more coil pickups(even the new "Noiseless ones:) I;ve dealt with Sweetwater many times before and they've always been helpful and courteous, even with technical questions concerning what goes best here and so on. I will continue to use sweetwater in the future because they are the best at what they do. Thanks Nick.
