i bought the axe set individually (i was experimenting) i wear hearing aids and single coils mess up the sound. these beauties are outstanding and if wired by the axe specs give you single coil sound but as hums. make sure to use the patch to get the bridge tone working. i added the "gilmour mod" toggle switch for the tele setting and it is EXCELLENT.

I'm a retired old guy who wears hearing aids. That one issue causes me major pain with single coils. So I spent over a year and several pups trying to get the "quack" I wanted. After reading for weeks I found this Duckbucker and I am here to tell you this is THE answer for my strat quack sound. Clean, crisp and very very sweet.
