Works well with bass
For some reason I really like this effect more on bass then I do on gutair now there is a switch in the back that you will have to move over in order to engage bass mode I do also wonder if it can be ran with out switching it over I'm also still getting used to the pedal as well. But I wanted to have kinda of a all in one type of thing
Review for Bass
I got this pedal almost exclusively to use on bass. I already have my chorus needs covered for guitar, but I did try it out on my guitar setup, too. Long story short, it sounds awesome with either setup. This review is going to be short, but focus on the bass mode. I like my bass chorus to have a fairly slow rate, sometimes kinda low in the mix, sometimes pretty wet. The Seafoam+… read more sounds great both ways. You can control the actual low-end in the mix with the Space knob on one of the settings. There's another setting that includes a bit of flanger and totally reminds me of Tool. I use a Spector Legend 4 and Peavey amp. The Seafoam now goes into a VT Sansamp and those are the only two pedals I currently use. The band I play in does a lot of 80's, 90's, and original rock. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the pedal and love the fact that it can easily work for bass and guitar.
Really good sounding chorus pedal!
I have been looking for a good chorus pedal that doesn't cause distorted tone when cranked up on the clean channel of my amp. I have been using EVH 5150 chorus which sounds really good but when the volume gets cranked it clips and becomes distorted. I've tried all I know to fix the problem. In the fx loop and in front of the amp in different places in the chain to no avail. Might… read more be my amp all EVH products are top notch coming from a man that changed guitar playing forever. So I tried the Seafoam pedal and it seems to be exactly what I was needing for the type of music we play in church. My wife even says it sounds cool. Haven't had the chance to use it on stage yet do to COVID restrictions in our area but used it for several hours at home and it sounds great. The ADT mode works best for me. When you engage it no rise in volume or cut in volume stays true which I like. Never used Keeley products before but thanks to my friends at Sweetwater especially my good friend Nick Hammer whom to me feels like apart of the family I'm enjoying my Keeley pedal. Thanks Nick!!!
Love this pedal.
I love this pedal. I started off looking for a simple chorus, so glad to stumble upon this one. So many voicings possible, heck it's even a hoot to put vocals through. Thank you Sweetwater and Keeley
Great Pedal
Keeley Always makes top notch pedals. It's a great chorus pedal but has a few other Unique tones you can dial-in which makes it very versatile. Very pleased!
