Makes an Acoustic Guitar Sound Like an Acoustic Guitar
First, this thing is built like a tank. 3/4" maple core plywood all the way around. No doubt about durability. On to the sound. I have to add some qualification here as I have only checked out Channel 2 with my Taylor Grand Orchestra custom and have not gotten around to checking Channel 1 with an electric yet. Having said that, the sound shaping capabilities on Channel 2 are… read more vast and usable. The interactive tone controls make fine-tuning your sound to match the moment very easy. The built-in spring reverb is sweet and the 25-watt output is more than plenty for my stage volume needs. I have never played through an acoustic amp that gives this type of true representation of the instrument itself.
