I put one of these in my 2004 Epiphone g400 replacing the original pickup. I wanted a Gibson 57 Classic+ but didn't want to spend that much for an Epiphone guitar. This pickup was a perfect choice. Wow! What a difference. Now I want to get one for the neck position. You can't go wrong with a Duncan!

I put a set of Seymour Duncan 59 Zebra's in my Godin Summit CT and it's sounds fantastic! Much better then the DiMarzio's sounded in that guitar. It needed Duncan's and once again my Godin is awesome sounding. Thanks Derek Senestraro! Now I'm saving up for a set of those new Red Devil (aka Billy Gibbons) single coil humbuckers.

I had picked up a "09 Fender Jagmaster, one of those good deals couldn"t pass up. The only thing I could find that it needed was a clearer voice. The stock pickups it came with, HB103"s, were not bad, just seemed not quite right. The "59"s sound very articulated, either lead/rhythm, has really really nice sustain, meant to say it twice. It can be just plain silky smooth or with… read more the gain to your taste depends on how nasty you get. I couldn"t be more happy with my choice, also got the zebra model, even cooler. A big thanks to my Sweetwater sales guru Andrew, super knowledgeable & patient, a pleasure just talking with him & he always makes sure everything goes well.
