I was having problems finding the perfect match to go with a JB in the bridge position on my Flying V, the standard match with a Jazz neck wasn't cutting it. The SH-1b '59 is The One, the mix between the two pups is melted butter/honey tone Deluxe. I couldn't be happier. Replaced the neck pickup on my '78 Gibson "The Paul" with a SD '59 Model. It looks perfect in the guitar and sounds great clean or high gain. Slightly brighter than the original Gibson. Would consider bridge model in the future.

It performs well. I built my own les paul, and this was a very good choice for the neck.. Now I need a cup or so of TALENT! PRACTICE PRACTICE and more PRACTICE!
