Sweet Tone
Woke up my guitar!
A Perfect Match
I was having problems finding the perfect match to go with a JB in the bridge position on my Flying V, the standard match with a Jazz neck wasn't cutting it. The SH-1b '59 is The One, the mix between the two pups is melted butter/honey tone Deluxe. I couldn't be happier. The quality of Seymour Duncan's is obvious the second you open the box, the best $ can buy. Highly recommended… read more in neck position with a JB in bridge slot, especially for a hard rock/metal Flying V set-up played through a Katana head. Sweetwater, top notch all the way.
Great upgrade
Installed this pickup in an Epiphone Les Paul Custom. Blew away the stock pickup.
Seymour Duncan '59 Model neck pickup
Replaced the neck pickup on my '78 Gibson "The Paul" with a SD '59 Model. It looks perfect in the guitar and sounds great clean or high gain. Slightly brighter than the original Gibson. Would consider bridge model in the future.
Seymour Duncan a Great choice!
It performs well. I built my own les paul, and this was a very good choice for the neck.. Now I need a cup or so of TALENT! PRACTICE PRACTICE and more PRACTICE!
