Great pickup combo
I replaced the pickups on an old Gretch with a Seymour Duncan Jazz pickup at the neck and a Gibson Dirty Finger pickup at the bridge and it sounds great
Great Pickup
Have a 30-year old Semi-Hollow Body Ibanez Artstar AS50 - Bridge pickup had bad coil. Replaced with the SD SH-2 in the neck and an SD SH-4 in the bridge - wow! This was a set put together by Sweetwater. Totally blown away with warm jazz tones at low levels and rocking tones at higher output levels. Nice and quiet too. Have a good luthier who set them up nicely so the levels between… read more the pickups are very even. I am impressed. Also excellent advice, support and follow up from Sales Rep, John Castro. Sweetwater rocks!
This pickup will handle it
Paired with a Seymour Duncan JB, you will have the "dynamic duo" of amazing pickups. And these are not only for Gibson type guitars. Nay, nay, I say. I have a Telecaster set up with a JB in the bridge and this bad boy in the neck. I Am still surprised by the tones I get from that guitar with this duo.
Does what it says it does
I got this to put in the neck position of a Fender American Telecaster to get warmer and jazzier tones for blues & jazz. I'm quite happy with it. It's not as loud as other humbuckers, but it's warm and mellow without getting really muddy on the low notes. Obviously one also needs to adjust the tone of the guitar and the amp properly, but it gives me the sound I was looking for.
My new Seymur Duncan.
This pickup changed Sound of my guitar.Has very nice Sound on clean chanel but great on distortion.Sound very nice on rythm and very jazzy on solos.
