It's warm, it's hot, it's chewy,its melt in your mouth goodness, sweet, salty, it's the neck pickups of pickups for any and all super strats... trust me just slap it in, I know it's a duncan and with all those other brands do you want to be that guy? The generic basic fella? The answer is yes it's a jazz it's classic it's timeless it's the neck pickup the orgional and the best
Jazz for the win
I play metal and needed a good pickup to go with the seymour duncan JB in a LP. incredible pickup. No need to change a classic. Works for clean, distorted or combined with the jb in the bridge.

Absolutely love this pick up. Sounds so buttery. sounds wayyyy better than my old trash pickups. Instantly sounds like I actually know how to play haha
Jazz are excellent
my second jazz set first zebras. i think they are the cleanest humbuckers you can run in any guitar.
Mustang Mod
Bought this for a Mustang HH mod. Was originally going to convert to a humbucker bridge single coil neck (a la Cobain Mustang), but when I heard the JB-4 and Jazz combo in a friends guitar I decided to keep the guitar full humbucker. I primarily use this guitar for punk/grunge/metalish sounds, but the Jazz has really encouraged me to pick this guitar up more often when playing around… read more with more subtle rock, blues, or jazz tones. It is a warm pickup and with a 500k pot has a great tonal range. Even though it is a moderate output pickup, it does not get lost to the JB-4 when playing in the middle position. Only downside is that the Zebra is not available in the JB-4/Jazz configuration as a set (which typically is a few bucks cheaper).
