This humbucker pickup is a classic, you can't go wrong with it. I used it on my strat to beef it up in the bridge position, it worked wonders.

Excellent neck pickup. Paired this with a '59 neck in my '01 PRS US Singlecut (SC250). It's is the most versatile two-humbucker equipped guitar I've ever played. The JB is hot, but not over the top. It has a certain "transparent" nature to it when you roll the volume down. Also responds to attack and the tone knob very well. Dead quiet, no hum and very very versatile. As to expect read more with Seymour Duncan products, the build quality is amazing. Of course, the Sweetwater team did a great job as usual!

Punchy or warm - its your choice

I replaced the stock Fender humbucker pickup in my Fender Modern Player Telecaster with the Seymour Duncan JB SH4 (Nickel cover) humbucker and I couldn't be happier! The stock Fender pickup was good quality for both humbucking or coil split (by use of the mini switch), however I felt like it lacked some power on sustain when coil split. The Seymour Duncan JB SH4 was just the shot read more in the arm needed to resolve this! The treble is not too highly voiced and the midrange and bass EQ has plenty of punch. When the humbucker is full on, I can roll back the volume and have plenty of warm tones for rhythm and roll up the volume to stick out on leads whenever needed. So glad Sweetwater offers such great products!!!

Love it.

Upgraded stock Epiphone SG pickups. This sounds great.

Magical

I have a Gibson LP Tribute that came stock with a 490T (bridge) and 490R (neck) installed in it. I just couldn't get into these. They sounded dull. So I replaced them with the SH-4 JB Model in the bridge and the SH-1 '59 Model in the neck. So glad I did. I couldn't be happier! The '59 is pure PAF tone. The SH-4 is brighter and punchier. Back off the volume a bit and you're read more there!
