Man this pickup has powered up my Fender Squire Jazzmaster to a hot rocking axe! The sound, the tones, and the energy Im getting out of this thing. I am very pleased with it. My jazz master was a good playing guitar before the up grade and now it is even better with this SD SH-4 JB pickup. Yes! This is the way! Haha!

I got this to pair with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 Jazz in my Les Paul Studio, and it balances extremely well with it. Very much like the jazz but with a higher treble response.

Articulate, aggressive and dynamic. This is everything i ever wanted in a pickup. Every note in a chord is differentiated even with high gain amps. Palm mutes are heavy and brutal, chords are full and clear with tons of sustain, but if you roll off the volume it can clean up nicely. Great for all types of rock into very heavy stuff.
