Product is fantastic! Service also fantastic. Unlike StewMac where I ordered a guitar part months ago, received the wrong item, and still not have received the expedited package. Where as I order a pickup from Sweetwater, and the package came within days, the correct item as well as a quality control check saying that the item was doubled checked and initialed to make sure what… read more was sent, was done so correctly. This was my first time really doing a pickup upgrade, and I couldn't be happier. Context: I got this pickup for an epiphone les paul 2008 silverburst, I was attempting to recreate the Adam Jones signature. Fun fact: it is pretty much impossible to get the pickups that come stock in the signature. However, according to my research, the ddj in that guitar is a seymour distortion… read more wound by a specific person. That led me to purchasing this pickup as an alternative. I paired it with a reverse mounted gibson 490R, if you were curious. I am sure it doesn't sound exactly like one of those $10k guitars, and it will never look like one exactly like one. However, it sounds much more tool-ish then the stock pickups, so mission accomplished. Mirror and metal toggle cap on the way!

Great PU! Everything I wanted. You can get the classic sounds of a Gibson PAF out of it, only you can get a heck of a lot more gain from it to get crunchy and metal. This is a great all around pick up.

I bought this to play TOOL songs and was not disappointed. The midrange is full and the overall sound has a nice clarity to it.

For anything high gain this pickup is perfect. Super aggressive sounding and cuts through a mix well. I dont believe there is a better pickup on this earth.
