Excellent Sound For Any Application
Very versatile, great sound. I use these in all my strats!
Flame thrower
Will add body if searching in your bridge. Surprisingly mixes in with the duckbucker pretty well. (Prior pup was a demon @ 13ohms vs 16 w/the HR). I needed due to birdseye top & birdseye neck.
Better than I could ever imagine
I built a jackson super strat and wanted a wide range of tones. I put this in the bridge and wowwww.... Through a Mark 3 mesa, you can play metallica then go through a blues jr. and sound authentic. Tone range is wayyyy better than expected. I recommend pairing with a vintage rail in the middle and cool rail in the neck.... phenomenal.
Small pickups that pack a huge punch
This was my first time trying Hot Rails, and man I am not disappointed. Even though I know they're still humbuckers, I wasn't sure if it would sound as good as some of the full size ones I have in my other guitars (looks can be deceiving). I just installed it and now my guitar sounds massive! This pick up has a good amount of low end, but not too much by any means. It still has… read more a really over all tight sound for heavy tones, but still shines with the cleans. Extremely pleased with this pick up.
Badass little pickup
Threw this into my "16 Fender Duo Sonic and wow what a difference! The stock pick up that came with the Fender was a little to thin and tinny sounding. After doing some research to find the best pick up for my needs I"m glad I found this one, definitely beefed up the tone which was exactly what I was looking for. Check it out for yourself, you won"t be disappointed!
