Been playing guitar almost half a century... Have a nice Fender Deluxe Reverb Tube amp but it is kind of heavy lately for me to carry... So wanted something lighter and versatile....Let me tell you if you spend some quality time with this amp you will find your sound. This amp has a lot to offer .... I just got my silverline special tonight in the mail, and it looks just as good and sounds even better in person. Im gonna be playing with it for a while before I really figure out which settings I like the best and for what application but so far I love this amp. Before I was playing out a 1st Gen CyberTwin and I immediately fell in love with the silverline special after switching… read more to it. I play alot of blue but I also like heavier rock and metal and its got the guts in it to gimme the sound I want for the job. All I all Im super pleased with this Amp. Great great work BlackStar.

Just checked the Silver line series out spent about 40 min on the 50w version it’s not terrible. The tones are decent but it lacka tube feel. That warmth you get from a real tube amp and resonance. The response just didn’t seem to be there. I just couldn’t get my notes to shine like I can normally achieve on most solid state and tube amps. The effects are sub par for me. The… read more reverb meh not great also the delay was not favorable. I’d like to add the overall sound is a bit dry this is why it lacks the feel if this makes sense to anyone? For this price I’d rather purchased the HT 20 black star combo and enjoy real tube tone.
