Expensive? Yes. Do they last? Yes. Do they sound better than other strings? Yes,IMHO. Are they flexible? Yes. Are they too flexible? No. Are they easy to play? YES. Are they smoother than other wound strings? Yes. Are they balanced? Yes. Should i try them? Why not, if you can afford them. They last. They sound great. They even look good with their gold color on the unwound strings.
Best strings that I have ever used!
I use the 9"s on my Stratocaster"s, and 10"s on my Telecasters and Les Paul. Over my 40 years of jamming Classic Rock, Blues, Rocking Blues, jazz and Country, I have not found a set of strings as good as Thomastic Blues Sliders!
