Fender Twin Reverb, clean side #1 input, bright switch on - The sound of these paired with Pearly Gates Humbuckers is perfect. They get rid of the metallic clang when strumming hard with a pick. Pedals sound juicier too.
These strings are AWESOME!!!!!

I recently got a set of these for my '74 Les Paul and I played out with 'em on for the first time last evening. Man oh man what a difference maker. They were smooth to the touch and added a tone that was amazing. My Paul sounded good before, but I have just taken a huge leap forward with these Blues Sliders on. I stumbled upon some glowing reviews of these strings and figured I should give them a shot. I have played many different strings over the years, and these play so different they stand out immediately. The first thing I noticed was just how effortlessly the strings bend. Even step and a half bends make you feel like you"re not even trying. The same qualities that make bends so easy… read more also make barre chords require less work, an F barre chord for example. The tone of the strings is unique as well, they have wonderful vintage vibe, but still maintain a sparkle with excellent clarity and dynamic definition. My strat has simply never sounded better. TLDR: After trying one set, I am now ordering more to fir the rest of my guitars with their strings.

Finally Sweetwater has decided to stock these strings. I have used these strings for all of my electric guitars for over 10 years.The tone I get from them is second to none! I play, Blues, Rocking Blues, Classic Rock, and Jazz with these strings.
