I had one of the originals many years ago and thought it was great. Alas, like many other pedals, it eventually went away, but I kept finding myself thinking, "I'd like to get another one of those." This Smalls version really hits on all six - sounds just like I remember the original, but the tiny size is very nice. Controls are simple and - for the aforementioned tiny size -… read more are easily accessible and not fiddly at all. The sound? It's a simple machine; it does some tape-style echos and self-oscillations, but also really thickens up your sound with doubling, etc. and does a heckuva slap-back, too. I dig this pedal A LOT. If you're looking for a fat, not exactly clean, analog delay with a lot of character, you will, too.

This thing is incredible. I upgraded to this from an electro-harmonix canyon. While that is a decent delay it never sounded organic and natural to my ears. The aqua puss inspires me to play. Run a reverb before this pedal and it'll take you to the outer space. I can't say enough good things about the sound I get from this little guy. Don't hesitate just buy it
