Mojo Tone Solderless!

I was looking for a quick drop in replacement for an upgrade to knockoff version of a well known guitar that I purchased. The Mojo Tone was quick and easy install. Huge addition and compliments the Dimarzios very well. Thanks Again to Sweetwater and Rob. He always goes above and beyond!

Replaced the wiring in my Gibson Slash LP Standard. All of the threading and hole sizes were the same. Install took about 1.5 hours. Clean install. Sounds great!

Although very poorly designed the concept is incredibly good! How are both possible? Once the installation is completed (you don't have to solder and need only a couple of tools) and the actual components are high quality. Its the almost impossibility of putting a braided ground wire sheath into an incredibly tiny hole??? that I spent 3-4 almost 5 hours of twisting the braid cutting… read more it back to try an eighth time with two different types of hemostats holding it and a jewelers 10X magnification hood, and gorilla tape to stiffen the butt that I "lost it" multiple times!!If this ONE HOLE was twice as large it would become a FIVE SECOND task!!!It required a needle to carefully unbraid enough of the sheath to fit deep enough to be held by the spring clip. My take is that many of the hightest quality pickups are wired with an "authentic" braided wire ground sheath so the design should account for this by Doubling the size of the receptical hole you have to fit it into and DONE..This would be the best set-up since sliced bread if you were not forced to use a machete to slice the bread.... LOL The end results are what count though and the sound is terrific and the harness is strong and built stout !!

From the time I opened the shipment which included the mojo tone solderlrss and two Duncan's. 35 minutes later I was playing my Les Paul for the first time in 3 years. Psst: it took me 15 of those minutes to string it up. Well built. Ordering another for my SG
