Strat neck a little too bright now?

First off, it was super simple to install in my 1993 Japanese Fender Squier. Just had to enlarge the potentiometer holes in the pickguard. Everything else was super simple. Running Seymour Duncan ss1 pickups. My neck pickup is super bright now and if I roll the tone back to like 3, it sounds great. I wish the tone knob had greater range as you really don't hear it until about 4… read more maybe 5. When you get it down in there though,it sounds fantastic I just wish there were more room on the knob. Other than that I would recommend this highly to anybody that wants to improve a muddy or bland strat. I'm going to put my old original pickups back in there as an experiment to see how they sound. It's so easy to swap them out, that I almost have to. If they sell good I'm going to sell my seymor duncans lol. I have a feeling it's going to sound great with the originals in it due to the brightness of this rig. One photo shows the mojo installed on my pickguard . Awesome upgrade for a Strat!

Got these to upgrade a cheap strats tiny pots, and having the ability to quick change pickups making experimenting with tones fun and easy

Installing this wire harness is one of the best Mod/Upgrades that I have done to my 2018 Squier Standard Series Stratocaster.

Mojo Tone Solderless Strat Blender Wiring Harness I was thinking of changing pickups in my Strat because I did not like the sound of the factory ones that came with my guitar. After installing the MojoT one harness, I immediately heard… read more a significant difference in the tone quality of my pickups. Meaning that the poor sound quality I experienced was mostly the result of the small harness and wires that were originally in my guitar. Even with the Blender effect turned off there was an improvement in sound quality. With the Blender engaged, the tones coming from my pickups were phenomenal. My model Squier is a full body size and installing the harness did not require any modification of the guitar body. The only modification I did have to do was to use a hand reamer and enlarge the three knob holes to 9.5mm. If you have a Bullet or Affinity series Squier, then you may need to modify the cavity that the harness fits into because those guitars have a thinner body. The area that the jack plug fits into is also a tight fit. To get MojoTone jack connection hardware is slightly larger than the Squier, but if you install the jack hardware into the jack plate where the contact is on the side closes to the wire holes, then it will fit. If you try to install it where the contact clip is on top or on the bottom, it will not fit because the cavity is shallow and when you try to plug a jack cable in, it will hit bottom and not go in all the way, but with the connector clip on the side, that is not a problem. All-in-all this is an easy Mod and improves the sound of you inexpensive Squier Stratocaster.

I ordered the Mojo Tone Solderless Strat Blender Guitar Wiring Harness from Greg Titzer. The service was great. He always answers my questions and we chatted about music too. He's always helpful and ready with suggestions. Once the order was made he gave me information on how to track it. Then the harness arrived three days ahead of schedule! After some preparation, i.e. reading… read more and following the directions :-) and routing out the "swimming pool" electronics area a little deeper, it dropped right in. Now my Predator has a selection of sounds that it has never had before. Additionally, I can easily remove and replace the pickups. Perhaps some Seymour Duncans down the road! Plug and Play!
