Solderless Strat Wiring Harness - Standard Review

Strats Alive!

I purchased this harness to simplify changing pickups in my mim Strat. I had this and a Dimarzio Tone Zone installed in less than an hour. It seems that combo really brought my guitar to life! I'm so happy, I bought another wiring harness for my Epi LP.

Great Product. Superb Customer Service Sweetwater and Mojotone

After I'd installed the "Mojo Tone Solderless Strat Wiring Harness - Standard" the last wire I hooked up was the trem claw ground. I could not get a good connection with at the screw terminal on the volume pot. I was able to get it once, finished assembly and it sounded great. But then just moving the guitar around lost the connection. So I tried more, eventually broke off the terminal… read more and then embarked on a misguided adventure trying to get connection soldering at various spots on the volume pot. I let Sweetwater know about the issue before the I broke the terminal and after all the soldering. Both times they offered to replace the harness. I figured I had taken the harness beyond a reasonable return state and didn't want Sweetwater to eat the cost. I called Mojotone and they did a fantastic job of taking care of the issue. I sent them the harness and they cleaned it up and put on a new terminal. I was not charged for the work or the shipping back to me. No questions asked about where I purchased the harness or wanting the invoice for proof of purchase; they simply took great care of me. After re-installing the harness and taking extra care to gently hook up the ground wire to the terminal, it was perfect the first time. Quality Pots & Switch, Easy Install

First time upgrading a 25 year old garbage Lotus strat-copy with wonky pots and 5-way. Didn't want to dig out the soldering iron to do the usual quarter job I do when soldering, so opted to spend about $ more than the parts I was looking at to get everything done for me ahead of time. Glad I did! Forget the fact that the soldering is already done - but NOW? Now I can swap pickups… read more to try them out as I see fit! The quick solderless connectors are a breeze to simply strip & clip new pickups into place. Solid product. Very happy with the purchase, even if it is about $ more than I really expected/wanted to spend - definitely a quality job!
