Just a quick follow up on this product. I noticed that after I installed the included output jack that I would have a signal cut out from my guitar. It would come back pretty quickly but got annoying enough that I opened the guitar back up. I found that the factory soldered connection for the "hot" lead had a bad solder joint on the output jack and was only held on by the factory… read more applied heat shrink tubing. I fixed it with my soldering iron pretty quickly, but I think people are buying this to avoid soldering. If you own a soldering iron or are planning to have a tech install this, I'd still say it's worth it. If you're trying to diy and avoid the soldering iron, you may be disappointed.
Good harness, but check for fit.
This is a good harness. Unfortunately, it didn't fit in my application. I have a Squier Bullet Telecaster and was interested in going with a 4-way switch. The "solderless" wireless block was too big to fit in the cutout for my guitar. I finally had to cut out the "solderless connection block" and solder in the pickups and the ground. Also, to get the 4-way to work correctly an additional… read more wire has to be added to the neck pickup's cover. So, if you really want it to be solderless get the 3-way switch and make sure there's room in your guitar for the extra bulk of the solderless connection. I put in Fender Pure Vintage '64 pickups at the same time as this and the combination really makes the Squier sound great.
