Great amp

This amp is one of the best I've ever purchased. Missing some of the features that the bigger ones have. So definitely suggest an upgrade

It has everything you could need as a beginner to intermediate, or even an advanced electric guitarist to practice and improve in a small (or large) footprint. Now that the MKII defaults to leaving its tweeter off, "classic mode", it has a much traditional guitar amp sound than the MK1. The previous version had some oversights that have been completely fixed with this model, which read more makes it a real contender now. You leave behind the worries of tubes going bad, or being stuck to 1 general sound and get a good amount of notable guitar tone presets with a full processing stack built in. Start from scratch or go off of a pro guitarist's tone preset, which is great for the blossoming artist. Modeling amps in general are known for their wide selection, and Line 6 supplies you with that. Some tone presets are even from guitarists you might recognize, or songs you might know. It also doubles as an ASIO audio interface, so you can run your own audio through it, or pull the fully processed stereo signal directly into your DAW, no mic required. These features work great for a "producer-guitarist" who is tracking themselves. There are more boutique picks out there, but if you're looking for solid basic functionality without sacrificing choice, you can find that with this amp for a great price.

It's a great amp 200 effects and many many more features it doesn't sound a solid state amp at all with the features that it has sorta reminds of a small version of a great little tube amp and the fact you can create like the Helix in many ways too like the loops you can create along with the fact you can have so many variable with the Helix and spider remote I 'm learning a lot read more about everything you guys offer too with everything you guys have offered to me although the cubase software for the Daw was a little tricky to understand cuz they have 10.5 pro and after being explained that all you need is cubase LE it's not so tricky after all to download all & all it's a great buy with all the purchases I have made through sweetwater through the years and I know if there is any questions I have you have the knowledge base to provide to a consumer like me to troubleshoot and alleviate my problems to get me problem's fixed , thank you always great job people if I need it you guys have greatly appreciated yours truly Timothy m . The spider V 30 watt line 6 amp is an excellent little practice amp. If your new to electric guitar, this amp gives you every little sound you could want and more. Its an excellent way to learn tones and effects with presets and custom configurations. The versatility of the line 6 is bar none. Clean, heavy, delayed, etc etc. This amp meets and exceeds my expectations for what read more I needed it for. The learning curve is minimal, and theres plenty of online help to get you up and running in no time. Thanks Sweetwater for your amazing customer service and follow ups. I'm a lifer for sure.
