Seymour Duncan SSL-5 pick ups

I put a set of these in my #1. (Custom shop Stratocaster) I liked them so well I put them in two of my other strats also. A buddy of mine liked them so well I put a set in his strat too. They produce very smooth classic vintage Strat tones all while hitting the amp like a runaway truck. Roll back the guitar volume just a bit and they clean up very nicely. They give you harmonics read more out the ying yang and real singing sustain. I found everything I was looking for in these SSL-5's. I think you will too.

Brought my old MIM Strat back to life

I recently put these in my 2003 made in Mexico Strat to replace the cheap old ceramic pickups. My sales engineer Bryan was great with helping me pick these out to match the sound I was looking for and got me some wiring diagrams to add the blender modification. I couldn't be happier with how these sound. They brought my old Strat back to life and will make sure it stays as one of read more my primary guitars for years to come.

Improved My Strat's Tone

I put a set of these SSL-5 pickups into my Strat and it really brought the guitar to life. I got the Strat used and the pickups had already been changed. I think they were a Texas Special and a couple of Fender American Standard Strat pickups. They were a little weak and thin sounding. These SSL-5 pickups boosted the output and fattened the tone up. I've very happy with these pickups read more and would likely put them in my next Strat.

These pickups are great! Brought my 90's Strat back to life. Versatile pickups for many styles. Thanks Colton for the great recommendation!

Threw these in a Sterling Cutlass and it sounded like an entirely new instrument. Simple, clear, deep tone. Noticeably better output The mounting hardware may not be to your liking, but should easily work with whatever you have on hand already. I haven't had any issues with adjustment. The color is more of a vintage white than a bright white so they look a little different shade read more than the pickguard. Not a deal-breaker but worth knowing
