Middle Pickup Use
This single coil is very hot but very little noise. I've got in the middle with a Sceamin' Demon in the bridge and a Hot Rail Neck in the neck and I actually had to lower it to equalize all 3 pickups. The tone is a 60's type of sound with a little bit of a bump in the 2K range. A full set on a Strat should be incredibly hot but still with the expected Fender chime. It brings the… read more "honk" in positions 2 and 4 perfectly for me with the two humbuckers (no coil-splitting). There's a reason I have nothing but Seymour Duncans in every guitar I own.
1/4 pound RWRP
The 1/4 pound pickups are MONSTERS! Almost sound like P90's! The middle RWRP is a must if using a set. The hum cancel it delivers adds to the sonic pallet a five way strat is known for. Definitely recommend!!
