The more I play this guitar, the more happy I am with my purchase through Sweetwater. It is indeed a well made instrument. The range and variety of sounds available with split coil pickups is fantastic.
Starfire 1
I really like the Starfire series for many reasons. I was looking for a ES style guitar for the overall versatility and easy playing. I considered the Epiphone and decided I would go with a Guild. Great for country, rock, rockabilly,, etc. the neck is wide but feels and plays great. Stay in tune very well, even after using the tremolo all in all superbly pleased with my purchase
Beautiful and well built guitar
Sweetwater associates did an excellent job packing the guitar. It arrived intact. I am currently exploring the various settings. I did an unboxing video with the help of my son. Check it out.

I also have a strat that I tend to play distortion with, but I was surprised to find out that the Starfire can hang in with that, too. Very versatile product. Also, the color of the guitar is unbelievably beautiful. I don't think the depth… read more of the green really comes through in the pictures - it's really sweet.
