The change up my Esquire build needed!

Kyle Covey

Taking inventory, I'd found I predominantly had humbucker equipped guitars. Instead of adding single coil guitars, I decided to change out pickups. This pickup replaced a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails telecaster humbucker I originally put in a Esquire build I did. Not that it was bad, that pickup did what I originally wanted - but I found myself wanting a more vintage vibe. The STK-T3b read more filled the void my Franken-Esquire needed. It's equipped with a Mocked Wah/Eldred Mod harness, and the new pickup is more articulate, and Tele/Esquire-esque. Exactly what I wanted!

I installed this pickup in a 1974 tele custom and was completely satisfied with the quality sound it has brought back. The support from your staff has been excellent. Sweetwater customer forever.

This did the trick! Put in a new Chapman ML-3 Traditional with a Hot Rail in the neck. Dead ended the white and red wires together because your only going to get one tone from a stacked pup. And I got to say that one tone nailed my objective! It's that classic fat twang with extra power to drive your amp, not thin and ice picky like the stock pups. It will make your jaw drop with read more that WOW factor. The Hot Rail balanced great with the Vintage Stack to cover all music from country twang to heavy metal and everything between.

Frankly not much to say about this pickup except for 1 word: WOW!!This may very well be the ultimate Telecaster bridge pickup.Dead silent, "ballsy" & killer twangy Tele tone for days.Been playing 30 years & have played with regional & national acts.I use to be a HUGE fan of EMG Tele pickups......but not anymore. This is THE ONLY Tele bridge pickup I can recommend. My advice: buy read more this pickup & prepare to be blown the hell away. It's THAT good!

Love this pickup, I am using this pickup with a gretsch filtertron neck pickup on a custom built tele style guitar and they blend very nice togeather. I have a 4-way switch and the series position is great also.I play finger and thumb style and I love the blend.
