Highway 1 Telecaster Upgrade
I purchased this set and had a local shop do the actual pickup swap. The p'ups arrived on time and nicely packed, no damage to the plastic case . The Tele (alder body, maple neck) sounds great and I am very happy. I play it into a 5W Class A Vox tube amplifier, high gain on the power tubes and mid-low gain on the preamp, where the p'ups and the amp work well together to give lots… read more of pick attack dynamics. The only effect is a touch of digital oil can reverb (pedal). The bridge p'up is NOT twangy, as expected, and really usable for electric blues with a distinctive growl. The neck p'up is NOT straty, as expected, still very sensitive to attack and pick position along the strings. I use the middle position when I want to get rid of the hum, however there is a particular tone coming out of the middle position which I like but still learning how to optimally utilize. These p'ups brought the guitar up to another level, they pass-through a lot of nuances like micro-vibratos and mutually sustaining notes on adjacent strings. Lots of fun.
Seymour Duncan Broadcaster Pickups
Dropped a set of these pickups in my Chandler Telecaster - sweet old-school tones with clean notes and tonal clarity!
Great!
Great pick ups. Very mellow. I personally wish they had a tad more bite and grit. But they do sound great and I can't complain. But I think I'm more of a Texas special kinda guy. Will be buyin them soon.
Difference Makers

Dropped in these Duncan’s an Emerson prewire kit and completely changed a cheap flat sounding guitar into a classic Telecaster. Huge difference maker that left me with a guitar that I am completely satisfied… read more with. Recommend all the way.
Duncan Built with true Leo vibe.
I love this pickup set, this is my go to pickups for all my vintage Tele builds. Captures the early Tele vibe !
