Everything I was hoping for.
This is my first 7-string and first multi-scale. I am still getting used to the extra string when playing 6 string songs. However multi-scale has been a non-issue for me, I really don't notice it when playing. The feel is amazing and the chambered body resonates so much longer than I expected. I got used to the unique neck profile very quickly and while it certainly feels different… read more than a round neck it still feels very natural to play. The only thing I think could be improved was the edge of the fretboard was a little rough and there was some discoloration on the fretboard and along the frets from the fretwork at the factory. I don't expect perfect and this will be a non-issue over time with normal playing but it was noticeable when looking closely at the light fretboard out of the box. The frets themselves are done well with a high polish. Arrived in tune and tuning stability has been fantastic. Plays great, sounds great, looks great.
Inspiring!
When you first pick up a strandberg it does feel strange but after a while you realize why it's made the way it is. I hardly ever get fatigued anymore and just feels like I can flat out shred 24/7 on it without getting any cramps. Also sounds and looks incredible!
