Upgrading a telecaster for a friend of mine and neither he or I are into the typical telecaster sound. We wanted it to sound more heavy metal, and this pickup did the trick! Very happy with it!

I am an experienced rock player that loves telecasters but does not care for the tele bite. This pickup is great for classic rock and more. I have tried many different pickups and like this one the best. It does change the sound to sound close to a full size humbucking pickup which I did not think was possible. I installed one of these in my Fender Classic 60's Tele, and it officially became my favorite guitar. I tend to lean towards posthardcore, pop punk, and other alternative styles of music when playing, and this pickup suits these genres quite well. I eliminated the hum I was experiencing with the stock pickup in my Telecaster, and also gained a far more girthy tone!
