I got these to try in my Les Paul. I had previously tried TV Classics, which were good but a bit too weak & polite. So I put a TV Classic Plus in the bridge position and put a Powertron in the neck position to go with that. After a while, I realized that I wasn't super happy with the Powertron, so I decided to order the Supertron set. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised...The tone is… read more bright and punchy, yet has a fullness behind it when the pickups are set high. They seem a little higher output than the Classics, which works well in a solid-body instrument as mine. Very happy with these and with Sweetwater!
