I put these in my Mexican Built Tele and WOW! What a difference. I was ready to chuck it into the fireplace and now I love it! Have a dremel tool ready to make some adjustments to your pickguard and bridge plate. My buddy who has a Custom shop Tele is a little jealous. To top it off, there is absolutely no hum at all. It probably saved me $1,500 because was getting ready to get read more a new Tele from the custom shop.

The Best Money You Will Ever Spend On Your Telecaster

I loved my custom shop Telecaster from the beginning but always felt the tone was a little thin even with my Fulltone analog pedals. I don't play country music so I was looking for something that would beef up the traditional tele sound. I had a set of these installed and the difference is absolutely night and day. Tremendous improvement in sound, more balls to the low end, great read more definition in mid-range and high end, hotter volume output and better sustain. Killer tone through a 65 Deluxe Reverb.

Best Tele pickups ever

These are the best Tele pickups I have ever played. The bridge pickup is twangy but not ice-pick-ish, but when pushed it growls. The neck pickup is just absolutely sweet sounding. EMG has a reputation for sterile sounding pickups but these break the stereotype. About the only thing I don't like about them is their appearance, I wish they looked like regular pickups, but the tone read more is the most important thing!
