I had been thinking about buying a new guitar for a while when I called call spoke to Austin Zachrich, I told Austin what I was looking for and my price range. He aske a few questions and then provided a few choices. I went with the Taylor 110e and it sounds great. Even my wife noticed the difference between my old guitar and the new one. I have a 110e and a 114e, both strung up up differently for recording. They both sound great and I mix the pickup with a Rode NT1 and get great results. Would I buy another? In a minute!

I used to own a Martin in this price range and a solid back/sides Blueridge but this one sounds and plays better than both! I was pleasantly surprised by the tone considering the layered wood back and sides. I'm a Bluegrass player so I've always been high on Martins but I recentlyregained feeling back in my left hand after a relapse of my MS and was attracted to the Taylor's playability.… read more The Taylor neck is phenomenal.
