Huge Bargain
This is honestly the BEST acoustic guitar I have ever played. I've been playing for nearly 50 years(mostly professionally) and I am primarily a blues guitarist. That being said I have owned several acoustics and have played many others including very expensive models. This guitar has surprised me with its unbelievable playability. I wasn't sure I would like the 15" radius considering… read more I play mostly older Fender electrics with 7.25. Action was great right out of the box and sound/tone is exceptional. The newer electronics are great as well. Have used many times in a large church setting and it's great with just a DI to the board. All this for a ridiculously cheap price. Would and have recommended to anyone and any level of player.
Biggest Taylor bang for the buck.....
Recently parted with a Taylor 414ce I had for many years. Decided to get this to attempt to fill the void at a price point I could live with..... needless to say, I am beyond impressed. Tone, build quality, playability are all top notch, and the ES2 electronics sound great. Even the gig bag is fantastic. If you're looking for a great guitar with minimalist visual bling, this is… read more hard to beat - A real bargain with no disappointments. WONDERFUL GUITAR!
This is an fabulous guitar for the money. She sounds great; plays great! The only complaint that I have is the action is a bit high, this is defiantly NOT a deal breaker as it not extreme and can be adjusted easily. The Taylor 114e is perfect for fingerpicking, flatpicking or even just plain strumming. The 114e is excellently priced, and is worth every penny it's goin' for!!!
Great Guitar!!!
Great guitar for the money! I also have a 114e, strung up differently, for recording.
Fantastic Guitar
This is the best acoustic I have ever played...sound and tone are beautiful. Great projection and well balanced response. I did have the neck re-set but this can be done quickly by a certified guitar tech. The action on mine was higher than factory spec so I took it to an authorized tech and Taylor covered the fix (new neck shims) under warranty and now it plays very well indeed.… read more Best intonation I have ever heard on an acoustic and plays in tune flawlessly.
