Awesome
This is one of the best 12 String guitars I've ever played. I upgraded from a Taylor 150e and it is clearly a step beyond. (And the 150 is nothing to sneeze at) It is more compact and easier to play but it is also excellent for fingerpicking. The shorter neck seems to reduce the stress at normal tuning but improves playability significantly. I will say that it is very bright… read more (which is what I was looking for), but very adjustable when amplified (or if mic'd it can be adjusted in the mix) The consolidated tuning pegs really keep intonation perfectly. I noticed absolutely no pitching when using a capo, which I've found with other acoustic 12s. Really love this thing and the construction is beautiful. As for Sweetwater, they are simply the best source for musical equipment, information, and expertise on the planet. I've purchased gear from them periodically for at least 25 years and their advice was always spot on and their follow-up on customer satisfaction is a big plus.
Best playing 12 string you'll ever find
This guitar is incredible right out of the box. I didn't have to set it up at all. The tone is very warm. I sings at both 440 and 432Hz tunings. The sustain is beyond amazing. It holds its tune very well and requires very minimal tuning every couple days. The action makes Barre chords extremely comfortable and natural feeling without the buzz you'd normally get from a 12 string.… read more It's a great parlor guitar or practice guitar because, unlike most 12 strings, the GS body doesn't project quite as loud as the big body 12 strings that I'm used to. I played 8 taylor 12 strings, an epiphany, a fender, a Martin, and several others before I purchased this one, and it out-performed all of them...even the higher end Taylors at twice the price. If you want a dedicated strumming instrument, the 362CE is probably the one for you since it's mahogany. But for articulate picking, fingerpicking and those mellow tunes that need a little something extra, the 352CE is perfect. And at $2000, it's still affordable for an average musician. My favorite part about this guitar is that it snitches on you. If you make a mistake, there's zero distortion to cover it. This guitar has such clear tone and will amplify any mistakes you make. That alone has been the best quality for me, since I'm not a professional and I'm still learning every day after playing for 20 years. Having a guitar that can tell me when I'm making a mistake is almost like having a professional tutor living with me. If you're thinking of buying it, do it. You'll be amazed.
352ce Christmas present
"WOW" GREAT SHOUND, I never expected something this nice. The one thing i must say is Taylor guitars are very well made. It doesnt mater if it's made south of the border or made in the USA. They are quality from the start. I have many Taylors 6 and 12 strings. Have had many guitars throughout my life, Martin D 35-12, Gibson as well. I now only play Taylor. I have 5 of then. At… read more 74, I only play for my enjoyment. Thanks Taylor.
Great value in an acoustic 12-string
There are so many things to like about this 12-string: The solid sapele grand concert body is really comfortable and produces a less boomy response than a dreadnought or jumbo body typical of 12-strings. The 12-fret neck, with nicely rolled fingerboard edges, makes the instrument balance better, puts less stress on the neck, and moves the bridge farther back on the top, producing… read more better bass response. The shorter 24 ⅞" scale, with a 1 ⅞" fingerboard width at the nut, is ideal for fingerstyle playing. The ES2 pickup/preamp system produces full, articulate sound without piezo "quack." Finally, the included hardshell case is good protection for a well-made guitar that offers terrific value for the money. Highly recommended.
Great product. Great service.
Great guitar for the price.
