Worth the long wait! I can see now why they can't keep them in stock.

I bought this model because of the reverse string setup. I love having the low octaves on top which makes it play more like a true six string. No need for those up strums to keep the base presence. It is very comfortable to play. It's just straight up a quality instrument. It is a bit heavy and slightly slippery with the silent satin finish but that is literally the only negative read more thing I can find. If you dread trying to keep a twelve string in tune, no worries here. It stays in tune. I waited for several months for it to come in but it was well worth it! Huge thanks to Colton S. Who kept me updated often during my wait. On the fense about this guitar? Go for it.

Taylor 652 12 String, "OMG"

This is my 4th 12 string and after playing it, I can die a happy man. I was skeptical when I ordered it. I have a Martin D35-12 which sounds beautiful but not as easy to play as a Taylor 12 string. I also have a Taylor 355ce that sounds nice and very easy to play. The Taylor 652 is much smaller and has maple sides and back with Taylor V bracing's a voice that demands to be heard. read more It is very easy on fingers and hands and with the much smaller body it is super comfortable. I have to thank Colton from Sweetwater not for talking me into this purchase but for explaining the theory of how the tone woods and the bracing would produce the sound that this guitar is capable of. This guitar is a gem, louder than my dreadnought and jumbo. Clearer and sound perfect. Worth the wait. I highly recommend the Taylor 652 Builder's Edition 12 String. Thank you Colton - Sweetwater BTW: My 4th 12 string is an old Penco not worth mentioning.

Taylor 652ce is a 12 string dream

I have a Taylor 914ce six sting, a Gibson Songwriter six string and several other six string guitars, so that I have a really great "library" of acoustic sounds I was worried about buying this guitar as I wasn't sure about a 12 string in terms of playability and sound that would make it different enough from what I have to justify yet another guitar. Wow! This thing rings loud read more like a drunk in a bar, but is soft and sweet as a chorus of angels. It is SOO easy to play that if you have basic good chording technique you are off to the races with this thing. The chimes this guitar knocks out are amazing, it is heavenly. I couldn't be happier with this instrument and can see my music only getting better because of it.If you want a 12 string, the Taylor 652 ce is the only choice. What a joy to play!

Wow, this guitar has a lot of sound, powerful but SO easy to play. The action is great, the feel and balance is superb. The beveled edges make it extremely comfortable. Why didn't anyone think of this YEARS ago? Sweet, crisp notes, just a delight, can't wait to use it in our gigs. Thanks Sweetwater, this was an amazing buying experience.
