My hands and ears like it!!

I've played for fifteen years and have had more guitars in my hands than I can count. The great thing about this one is the nut size and neck shape. It's easy for small hands, beginners, and intermediate players to pick up and play without straining their hands like on larger full sized guitars. As far as sound goes I really enjoy it, and regardless what "experts online" say every… read more sound has its place in music. There is no perfect sound. Go play it for yourself and decide with your own ear, or watch some YouTube videos on it. Just make sure you watch with your ears and not your eyes. I find the guitar to have the right amount of mids and highs that are balanced well with decent lows. Great for fingerpicking styles. Obviously the low end of a Martin mahogany dreadnought is more noticeable one star, but good luck finding a full-size as comfortable to play as this GT as balanced with as much volume of sound.

No offense to the reviewer who did not like this guitar but I found it to be warm a little woody sounding with decent bass, I can see this guitar aging well.....the set-up from Sweetwater was perfect! Many Thanks to my SE Ryan Clapper!!

Full disclosure: I sell Taylor guitars at work. That being said, I had played and was set on a Martin 0-15 twelve fret and decided on the GT as soon as it came in. There are many ways to mitigate the punchy-ness others have mentioned. What the GT has is an incredible resonance for the amount of punch it has.
