Not the right PUP for me.

I play heavy gauge 12's strings. Mostly Jazz and a little blues. I thought I'd give the Seymour Duncan 59' Trembucker a try. Wrong choice for me. Way too midrange scooped for my sounds. If it wasn't so midrange scooped it might have worked well. But no, I went back to the Alnico Pro.I think the 59' Trembucker would work really well in a HSS or HH type Strat for a rock player that read more needs a bunch of sounds for a cover band gig. I'm pretty sure it would put out some great overdrive lead tones when the tune calls for that. Just not the the right PUP for me...

I've installed this pickup in all of my guitars and It sounds fantastic in anything from a Strat to an SG. Offers plenty of Clarity in the highs while still having a nice growl in the Lows. Highly Recommend!
