Sounds great. What i would like to point out is how exceptional my advisor ( David Merkosky) is. He called to see what I had ordered it for, knowing I did not have a guitar that would work on. I had a squier before i dealt with sweetwater. To sum up. Sweetwater is unmatched in customer service.

I replaced the stock pickups from a 2002 MIM '70s Classic Stratocaster with these, and the difference was obvious. Much higher output, with a clarity and "Strat-ness" that was lacking from the original set. The Tex-Mex's are bright and glassy when clean, and they keep a nice articulation and diverse range of tones when cranked. This is a steal for the price. The volume and tone… read more controls are smooth and responsive. The pre-wired pickguard is worth the money; simply solder three wires and you're done.

Very good quality and easy install. Very clear tone, but with suitable twang/quack. Seems like a very versatile pickup. Highly recommended.

I really like the Tex Mex pickups. I play blues and they have a great "blusey" tone! James Wroblewski, my Sales Engineer, was very helpful! AS always, of course!!
