Can't go wrong with Godin!

These cases are awesome! My Seagull S6 fits beautifully in this! Very sturdy and protective. Zipper is super fast and smooth! If you're looking for a lightweight soft case that gives the protection of a hard case- this is the one!

I'm not a guitar case aficionado or anything. This is probably the nicest case I've ever purchased to be honest. From what I understand it's a hybrid between a full hard case and a soft gig bag. It has a really nice, hard foam shell that seems more likely to protect an instrument than some hard cases I've seen, as the lining is almost cushioned. It's a nice balance between being read more too squishy and too hard, in my opinion, although I'm not inclined to really test it out... This case was recommended to me by Sweetwater for my Seagull S6 guitar, and I can vouch that it fits very nicely!

TRIC case best for Southwest

I live south of Tucson, AZ. The humidity drops down below 10% in this area. It's important to keep guitars at 45%-55% humidity all year long or you will soon learn 'the hard way'. I use these TRIC cases because I found them to be the best case that will hold out dry air, and hold in the humidity I need. They really seal well for the cost. I use the Boveda Humidipaks and an Oasis read more digital hygrometer. After initial guitar set up, my guitars stay right on. I play Martins and Taylor guitars. I learned how to properly recharge the Humidipaks. They should not touch water but sit in sealed container containing a few inches of water, above the water line on a dry shelf to reabsorb moisture. They last years and work perfectly.

Great Case

As always everything I get from Sweetwater is top quality. This case fits my Seagull S6 original perfectly and protects it well. Unfortunately Fedex got it to me late but that has become the normal for Fedex. Sweetwater was kind enough to refund half of my shipping cost even though Fedex was not willing to do refunds even when I paid extra for their next day air that arrived in read more 2 days. Sweetwater is my number one go to place for everything to do with music.

Great Protection, Great Value & Great Sweetwater Service

Let's start with Sweetwater's very easy to use website and, in particular, easy to use check out webpage. It even calculated my sales tax correctly which I have only found LL Bean and Staples to do previously. This is my 1st purchase from Sweetwater and it won't be the last. Now, the case. About 15 or 20 years ago, when Breedlove first started building guitars in Korea, a friend read more called and told me I had to come into his shop to try out a particular new dreadnought. I bought it for $600 as my camping guitar so I didn't have to take my Santa Cruz. But I never camped with it because we were still young enough to be backpackers. Now in my 70s I bought a camping trailer and I need a case for the Breedlove. I measured the guitar carefully and read the specs over and over for bunches of brands of gig bags and hardshell cases. I chose this one for Godin's reputation for value for money in guitars and the light weight. The nylon packcloth exterior is medium weight, but strong enough. The structural foam is the same sort that my laser printer came packed in. If it can support a 50 lb printer shipped by UPS, it will protect the guitar. The nylon zipper works fine. It gets sticky in one place when the angle by the neck changes, but all that means is I have to adjust the angle of my pull on the zipper tab. The case weighs 6.2 lbs on my scale. The hardshell case that came with my Santa Cruz D weighs 12.2 lbs. I measured carefully and the Breedlove fits perfectly. The Santa Cruz also fits perfectly. Someone complained about the straps and the buckles. I'm 6'2", weigh 219 lbs & wear a 48" suit coat. The straps fit me fine extended fully out. The straps are not substantial enough to carry a 75 lb backpack, but this case only weighs 11 lbs with the guitar, picks, extra strings, strap & capo in it. I don't know about the nylon hinges, but I expect they will last the rest of my life. The appearance is the least luxurious in my guitar rack and it isn't as sexy as my $900 Musafia violin case that you can park a Mercedes on top of. But... for a case like my Santa Cruz has, what a deal! Which would I trust in an airplane baggage hold? Neither. I had the headstock broken off a Martin D28 in 1968 on a flight from Seattle to Los Angeles. But this case will provide plenty of protection from typical bumps and drops and spilled beer and I can buy a second if needed and still be out less than a very good quality plywood hardshell. Finally, many thanks to Bob Furlong and the Sweetwater team for excellent communications and service.
