It is ultra fine… read more tuning as if you were a genius electronics wiz and did a grand schematic and under the hood wiring, possible hole drilling to add new knobs, switches, toggles, parts and push/pull crap and possible new guitar body routing. But instead all that is done with four little wires and a ground wire, reducing internal connections to two, one white and one black (a ground wire attaches to the black and together to one spot) EZ. Your controls are on top and tonal options accessible to your whims with flicks of your finger. You need to have; A-experience or B-confidence and a willingness to learn fine soldering technique, don"t fear it. I bought two of these in the hope that they would do what is advertised. The name triple-shot is an understatement. It brings your 4 wire humbucker to 4 way bliss. Glad to be a grown up with skills because by combining two triple-shots, My HH electric with new High output bridge humbucker and High output neck humbucker just went from 3 voices (3-way blade) to 14! All same manufacturer products, NO out of phase problems. Great for Total Alpha Omega Apocalyptic Oblivion if you like extreme death metal, doom, thrash , blow it up and throw it in the trash. And jazz. Really, I could not be more happy with this game changer. If you want to expand your humbucker"s tone, especially the HH configuration. Get these now. Once installed properly you will be blown away. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning. Back to the Beast! This guitar is so fierce, I"m sleeping with one eye open.

Triple Shot love!!!

I received my triple shot ring with a bridge PRails, and it is by far the best thing you can do to get the most out of your PRails pickups. I installed it in no time, and with great results. Highly recommended for PRails users.

No more snake pit

I like versatility even in a Les Paul and these are the ticket. After they first came out I thought they were cute but continued to wire in push pots and other exotic switch combos. While rewiring my Paul for the third time and un-soldering a mile of wire, I decided to use these after purchasing a set of Saturday NIght Specials. What a revelation, I wired the pickup outputs to… read more the board and stuck them to the back of the pickups. Now, if I wish to transfer the pickups to another guitar, the switching capabilities go with it, and it really simplifies the control cavity. As another reviewer stated you now have Page wiring without having to use 4 push pots. I have had no trouble with inadvertent switching while playing and I do alot of palm muting, really digging in . Absolutely no draw backs and I have been using them in several guitars for over a year.
