extremely clear, articulate and balanced tone. and it"s paired perfectly (as it should be) with a twang king bridge pickup. very traditional-sounding telecaster tone.

I had this Twang King neck pickup installed with a Dimarzio Chopper T bridge pickup and wow! These were installed in my 2018 Squier Affinity Telecaster. It truly took it to a whole other level! From the lows to the mids to the highs, it gave it more grunt and depth! Dont hesitate to purchase them both. Sweetheart purchasing experience was amazing as always!

I put this & the matching bridge pup along with a Fender tortoise-shell pickguard on a Squier Classic Vibe Tele that was given to me, and it really punched up the sound, in every way. This Tele comes stock with a neck pup that is NOT height-adjustable, & the pickguard upgrade is predrilled for height- adjusting screws, which come with the DiMarzio DP172, enhancing the sound improvement.… read more I can't say how it would improve a Fender Tele, but it brought my Squier to life...
