Stop staring at me
The 22+22 is a fantastic amp, hands down! The only thing that would be better is to have another 22+22 for the other side of the room.
Unbelievable Amp
I took a big chance buying one of these. I had never tried one, as there are no dealers anywhere in my State. I had only heard of them and watched some YouTube videos. It's a serious investment, so I was a little apprehensive, but once the amp arrived I knew I had spent good money. First thing I noticed is the build quality and how it was shockingly light for it's size. I… read more have another amp around the same size, it's 90LBS and sucks to drag around. This is probably around 55 to 60LBS, very reasonable for what it is. And what's that? An amazing amplifier. I plugged it in and plugged in my Gretsch White Falcon. The first chord gave me chills, it sounds better than any of my Fenders, Vox, or any of the Mesa's I've had. I was instantly hooked. The rest are gathering dust as we speak. I may sell them all and buy the 1x12 Twilighter as well. This amp is now my ultimate weapon in sound and tone. I played with a metal band at my last gig, they had big Mesa stacks and afterwords they asked me what the amazing sounding amp I was playing is. When you have one of these, you don't need a stack of any kind. I put many different pedals in front of it. I use a REVV G3 to get high gain distortion and it sounds freaking amazing through this. No clunky tin can sounding tones here. No, sir. Just pristine sound. My gigs now are me and my Twilighter Stereo and it gets nothing but complements every time I bring it out. When they say "Truly Dimensional Sound", they aren't kidding. At all. It is the best musical money I've ever spent. The price looks like a daunting number and it is for any bank account, but if you can scrimp and save, you won't regret it. Come on. Buy one. Just do it. They're amazing on all levels.
Magnatone Twilighter
I have owned this amp now for several months now and am amazed everytime I play through this amp. The clean sound is pristine using an ES-335 and the amp is very sensitive to playing techniques. The amp responds well with effects, I am using a line 6 helix, and sounds great at all volumes. I was initially hesitant due to the price, but after taking the plunge and getting this amp… read more it is well worth it. The build quality is superb, the attention to detail is awesome and it has a great vintage look. The staff at Magnatone are great, they answered all of my question even the president of the company emailed me several times. The list of artists that use Magnatone amps is impressive, check it out. This amp is the real deal.
