Amazing Reverb

Well I've had this pedal a few months now and figured it deserved a review. This is one of those pedals that blows my mind every time I pick up my guitar. I use mostly the spring settings. I just really like a good spring reverb and my main amp a Bad Cat Cub III doesn't have one. I can throw this in the loop or in front of the amp if it isn't too gained up and you'd think there read more was an actually spring tank in there. It's crazy. The plate and hall are equally as amazing. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more realistic sounding reverb pedal on the market. Look elsewhere if you need 20 presets but 2 is just fine for me. I'd also like to note I don't notice any degraded dry signal or tone suck what so ever from this pedal like a reviewer suggested below.

Best Reverb pedal!

Spring, Plate, and Hall reverb all shine here in this stereo reverb pedal. I have been enjoying the Plate and Spring so much, I haven't explored the other settings very much. Pedal is very quiet and actuates softly. I use the 4 cable system and this pedal is in my effects loop. In the Loop, it seem so much more dynamic and louder into my Dr. Z Maz 8 . This pedal really pairs great read more with all my time based effects(Chorus, Delay, flanger), especially my Timeline. A real magical pairing. Fantastic pedal so glad I chose this over the Blue Sky. I felt this pedal was a touch warmer. Highly recommend this purchase!

Absolutely Incredible!!!!

I've played since the 80s. I've played metal, rock, acoustic and now I enjoy a Blues/Rock type of thing these days. I've a Marshall Origin 20 played through a Cannabis Rex 12" in a custom Sonar cab. I've had a few reverb pedals - some reverb on my first Fender Amps and used a true plate in college. I just got ride of my Hall of Fame II for this one after A/B'ing the two. The reverbs read more on this pedal are incredible sounding. The sonic quality of the trails rises WAY above any VERB pedal I've ever had. The spring sounds so much like the real Fender 65' it's uncanny. I went to Full Sail and recall the ol' Lexicon with the controller that was connected by a really thick cable and the lush reverb sounds it had. Well recall no more as this pedal emulates that Lexicon incredibly well. All in all, I can tell you this pedal automatically makes me play more because of all the incredible sounds. 4 styles to choose from currently (extra one available after registration) but I don't see why you would need anything else. I can get more sounds from this one than I could from my 10+ position Hall of Fame. and. . I LOVE TC gear so no knocks there. This pedal is simply awesome. buy it. . you won't regret it.

Impressive!!

For standard reverb i've heard nothing better. I have enjoyed the Mercury 7, Strymon DIG/Volante/Blue sky, SA offerings, and many many others. Given i have no delusions of touring and performing live (and i do respect those that do) sound is really my biggest priority. This outshines everything i have tried at age 51. I don't have to worry about turning knobs when i find something read more stellar because i will likely just find something else even more magical. I am not concerned about what reverb is being emulated or rather how real something sounds but if this is suppose to sound like the original contraptions it emulates then i guess they did a great job. For my purposes using it with a Strat through a Princeton it is glorious. If over the top ambience is wanted would look elsewhere. If wanting a very useful, musical ender to your signal chain then i can't see doing better.

Excellent Reverb

I never liked spring reverb before, and then I played this. Now I love spring reverb. The ambient spring in particular is great, and it's not a spring sound you'd ever get in an amp. The lexicon emulations are incredible as well. All the reverbs have their own distinctive tone, and add their own harmonics to the signal, besides just making it sound far away. The controls are just read more enough to give you control, but not in a way that's what overwhelming. Best reverb I've heard.
