There are better, cheaper choices
I've used a Kyser for decades and wanted to test different capos. I got this one, a Shubb Deluxe, and a Paige. Of the four this is my least favorite. To be fair, of the four this is the cheapest one as well. I struggle getting this on my '52 reissue Telecaster (bigger neck, but not huge). You're supposed to fit the capo over the neck, then snap the bar onto the screw and tighten… read more as needed. The plastic band feels flimsy when putting it around the neck. With my tele neck I have to unscrew the screw to the point it is about to fall out. I feel the bar snaps in a bit hard because I can't get the capo any wider. At that point once it's snapped in I barely turn the screw to tighten it at all because it's already fairly tight when nearly maxed out. The capo does go on some of my other guitars better, but the flimsy plastic is still annoying I like the idea of it being so small and light, but it is all plastic. I feel the plastic threads will probably strip out soon. My confidence isn't too high putting this capo on and taking it off. That said, once it's on it does a decent job...no better or worse than the others I have. Unfortunately, if you're looking for a cheap capo there are probably better choices that are even cheaper.
