My first time building a bass - scary! I decided on a 1960's Jazz style bass and this was the prefect neck! It was super easy to work with. I didn't have to shim it at all and the nut filed smoothly as it should. Just had to sand the neck pocket a bit and the tuner holes but no biggie. Truss rod operates flawlessly and the feel is super smooth. I chose a Palowania relic'd body,… read more Fender Custom Shop 1960's pups and aged hardware (stacked knobs, etc.) to give it that old school look and feel. The tuners even operate backwards. It plays like a dream - highly recommend!

Amazing wood tone, vintage logo looks awesome, frets, fit and finish are all perfect. Plus, it's super unique being a vintage 60s style jazz neck, which didn't actually exist in the 60s.
