Great neck

This roasted maple neck turned my CV 50's strat into a serious guitar. I love the soft-V neck on my Baja tele but never liked the neck shape on my strat, so the solution to improving my strat was to upgrade the neck (thanks Leo!). The roasted maple is beautiful and the satin finish on the back feels great. From my perspective, you just can't beat the Fender soft-v shape. The read more peg holes were a little too large for my Gotoh staggered tuner bushings, so they needed to be shimmed. I took it to a tech for the installation of tuners, string tree, nut filing, and final set up. The only original parts remaining on this CV 50's strat are the body and the bridge/claw. It was a pretty good guitar out of the box, but now I think it is great. The neck is not cheap, but it is very good. Thanks, as always, to Ben Robinson.
