Essential pedal for your pedalboard
I purchased this volume pedal to use at the end of my pedal chain as a master volume. There is a dramatic difference in volume between my dirty and clean pedals. I wanted this pedal to be able to easily change volume during performance. I had some difficulty setting the pedal up initially. To be switched on, more weight needs to be put on the front of the pedal compared with just… read more turning up volume with the foot. Once I figured this out, I have not had any issues with pedal. The pedal has two outputs. The output to the pedal chain should be from the first channel or the guitar signal will not be sent down the chain. The second channel is for use with a tuner. However, I have not used this feature because my tuner pedal is at the beginning of my signal chain. Volume pedal also feels very sturdy. Pedal can be used via battery or DC power. Note: pedal will not fit in BOSS BCB-60 pedalboard case.
Worth the money
this is a great pedal. I had a cheap volume pedal that broke not long after I got it and I got this one. I had this one for a month. love the led lights. there is a lot you can do with this. I would recommend this to any one. if you are looking for a good volume pedal check this one out. its nice you can switch between two amps.
Volume control
I like this pedal better than the EB Jr. mostly cause there's no string to break. (which is tough to repair) However, it does ramp up a bit quick. Most of the gain seems to be in the first 60 - 70% of the push. EB pedal seemed to have a more even gain through the complete motion. But...there's no string to break! The jury is still out on the bypass for the tuner. I like it in… read more between tunes but the problem is I can't turn around mid song to check my Korg Pitchblack in my rack without shutting off my sound. (+/-) Overall, it's built real solid, which I like. I'm pretty tough on my volume pedals and I've busted up a couple of EB Jr.s because of that. Literally broke them apart! The LED base is kinda cool. (Green means GO!) And I can find it on a dark stage easier if I'm partly "blinded". ;-) I might buy another EB Jr. just for backup and so I can A/B them. Given that the EB is about $80 cheaper it's probably worth it.
